Goal of pilot program
The Advanced Code Development Pilot Project aims to develop accessible, validated simulation codes tailored to pulsed magnetic systems, targets, and power coupling from driver to target. This initiative is designed to:
- Close the gap in the availability of mature, publicly accessible simulation codes for the scientific community.
- Enhance the utility and effectiveness of the ZNetUS User Facility program by providing reliable modeling tools.
- Advance the precision and scope of research conducted in pulsed magnetic science through improved simulation capabilities.
Examples of Advanced Code Development Include:
- Simulation codes for pulsed magnetic systems and dynamic power coupling.
- Advanced target modeling frameworks.
- Software tools for analyzing power flow and coupling efficiency.
- Validation datasets to ensure code accuracy and reliability. Targeted experiments where validation dataset are not available for critical physics.
- Modular, user-friendly platforms for integration with experimental diagnostics.
